Education
B.Tech at NIT Calicut
The four years
Electronics and communication engineering at one of India's premier technical institutes: signal processing, communication systems, and a lot of late-night programming.
What actually stuck was the habit of first-principles thinking: taking a system too complex to hold in your head and breaking it into parts you can reason about. I use that on product problems more than anything I've learned in a classroom since.
What I took away
- The programming and problem-solving base that landed me my first software engineering role at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
- Comfort with decomposing hard problems, the skill underneath every product decision I make now.
- Friends who still review my riskiest ideas before anyone else sees them.
